A Scientific Vision

NeuroFocus was founded upon two fundamental premises:

1) To utilize the latest advances in global neuroscientific research to enable new insights to be gained into how consumers both perceive and respond to verbal and aural stimuli

2) The company adheres to stringent scientific standards in all aspects of its work in measuring and evaluating Neuro-insights. NeuroFocus has developed a proprietary method to meet this vision.

NeuroFocus has invested in its credentials as a science-based company by assembling a team of eminent scientific and medical experts. These individuals rank at the top of the worldwide neuroscience field. The Advisory Board is comprised of: Professor Robert T. Knight, Professor Earl K. Miller, Dr. Leon Y. Deouell, Professor Rajiv Lal, Dr. Hans-Jochen Heinze, Professor Gerald Zaltman, Professor Stephen Kosslyn, Dr. Mark D'Esposito, Ravi Parmeswar and Barry Herstein.

NeuroFocus relies on much more than the scientific and academic credentials of its advisory council. With several Ph.D.’s on staff, Neurofocus has developed a number of patents for the proprietary tools and techniques used and is continuously developing more. Deepak Varma, Chief Strategy Officer

Deepak joined NeuroFocus with more than 20 years of market research experience, most recently heading Nielsen’s Customized Research Division in North America. He set up and ran the Nielsen New Delhi office as well as the Nielsen Customized Research office in Fremont, California before assuming responsiblity for the entire Customized Research operations for US business. Prior to Nielsen, Deepak worked in the Indian Market Research Bureau, a part of the Kantar group of companies.

Deepak has a Masters of Management Studies from BITS Pilani, one of the premier institutes in India.
